Clamerica

Cedar Key, Florida will be exploding on Friday, July 4th when the 5th annual CLAMERICA Celebration brings thousands of clam lovers to this island community to enjoy their sweet and savory farm-raised clams.

Clamerica has been designated as a Top 20 Event in the Southeast for July 2008 by the Southeast Tourism Society.

Sponsored by the Cedar Key Aquaculture Association, the day will be filled with fun, food, and events for the whole family from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the City Park and Beach on 2nd Street. So bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a "down home" 4th of July party, but with a clammy theme.
