Meridian is a private, non-profit organization with roots in the community mental health movement, which began in the 1960s, to bring education about mental illnesses and substance use disorders and treatment of those affected to the local level. Meridian's goal is to promote the heart, life, and community of those affected by mental illnesses and substance use disorders through primary care, coordinated treatment, and supportive services. Our mission is evident in all we do, from developing a continuum of treatment services that are evidence-based for a range of illnesses to participating in our communities as a partner in enhancing the quality of life.
